Honestly if you are claiming to be a plant/animal/mermaid/whatever otherkin are trying to claim being, you are searching for attention and trying to be a snowflake.
When I was like 8 I claimed I was a mermaid and I tried to swim like one and all that. It’s just something kids do, I’m not a mermaid.
Stop trying to make something out of nothing. Otherkin is just some stupid idea someone came up with to feel special.
